Why I chose to make this costume:
Disney is a very large part of my life. For my first Disney cosplay I wanted it to have a special meaning. My mom used to make my Halloween costumes growing up, and Snow White is the first costume I could remember. I figured that it was appropriate for my first princess to be a remake of my first costume memory.
My thoughts on this costume:
This costume gave me so much confidence in my skills. I was truly sure this would end up being a disaster, but it made me realize I was capable of great things when it came out looking the way it did. She may not be my favorite princess, but this is still one of my favorite costumes because of the attention to detail and the storytelling we were able to accomplish through the photos.
