Why I chose to make this costume:

The Supergirl TV show had just been announced in 2013. I had just started working with Joe of Thumbprint Photography. I have since learned he is pretty obsessed with anything to do with Superman lore. He is the one who suggested that I create a Supergirl outfit, and I quickly got to work creating what is still probably my most well known costume.

My thoughts on this costume:

Supergirl. She has rapidly become very dear to my heart for many reasons. This costume is officially the reason that I became a comic book fan. It is the first costume that I hand made made completely by myself, so it will always hold a special place in my heart.
