Powerpuff Girls: Battle Blossom

Why I chose to make this costume:
Rosa, Virginia, and I have always wanted to do costumes together, and 2018 Dragon*Con was the year we finally made that cohesively happen as a trio. This group was inspired by a redesign of the Powerpuff Girls by Ryan Ye.
Thoughts on this costume:
This was my first costume that I feel like I successfully incorporated foam armor into a cosplay. I had maybe done small pieces here and there, but around this time, a lot of foam armor base patterns had become more mainstream from a lot of big creators. Believe it or not, I think this was the first time I made a pair of pants for a cosplay!
