Why I chose to make this costume:

I really love Pinup style art and clothing, and I went through a phase of trying to do more Disney Pinup designs. I rewatched Wreck-it Ralph one day, and realized how comfortable and easy it would be to make this into a pinup version. I also really just wanted an excuse to buy the high heeled construction boots.

Thoughts on this costume:

This costume was fairly straightforward. Everything on it was purchased or modified. The shorts were the biggest undertaking as I had to deconstruct them to properly size them down to fit my waist. I wore this to one convention in Asheville forever ago, and aside from that have only worn it for the photoshoot. I love arcades, and Scott was willing to put up with me in 2024 to get these photos so I could retire this costume. I think they photos turned out as fun as I envisioned them, and we even played a few games together while we were there!
