Haruhi Fujioka
Photography by Charles Logan Photography
Why I chose to make this costume:
I love the Ouran High Host Club as an anime, and I wanted to do Haruhi Fujioka while my hair was still short enough to do it without a wig. When I found a jacket I could easily modify it was an easy decision to go ahead and make this cosplay a real thing.
Thoughts on this costume:
I was really happy with this costume because it taught me some new things about creating appliques. It also helped me decide that I hated the dress pants that I wore with it. Ha! A huge thanks to Logan for letting me drag him out to Wofford College to take photos. Plus, isn’t the lighting in these just fantastic?
