Glamorous Corset Review

Glamorous Corset recently reached out to me to collaborate, and after viewing their website and social media I knew it was a good fit. Sometimes finding a decent corset in the right color can be a real pain, but I guarantee you can find what you’re looking for with them. Without further ado let me elaborate on the Kathy Brown Leather Corset they sent me to review.

This website is top notch. It is easy to navigate, and you can get to what you’re looking for by multiple routes. One thing that always makes me give a website two big thumbs up is when their contact information is easy to find. It’s simple, straight, an d to the point, which makes it effective.

Quality (5/5)

They specialize in steel boned corsets, and the one that I chose to review is a rich brown leather corset. The leather is lambskin. It is soft and durable. Even though I chose a corset that has three different types of closures that have to be dealt with to get into, it was pretty easy to get on. It looks exactly like the photo that was on the website, so there were no surprises. It also came in a beautiful bag for storage, so it won’t just get buried in a pile somewhere in the cosplay room.

I do want to note that I did not choose a waist-training corset, so this corset was more for looks than to give the appearance of an unnatural waistline.

Shipping Time (5/5)

Realistically, I think they deserve 6/5 for the fastest shipping time I’ve ever received products to review. They are a New York based company, and they shipped the product the same day I decided which one I was interested in. Shipping took two days, and my products were in hand. I don’t think you can ask for better ship time than that.

Value (5/5)

As a seamstress, I understand how much work goes into a bodice on a dress. A steel boned corset of this quality would not be a simple task. I know you can find plenty of corsets for $15 on Amazon, but these corsets are quite a bit higher quality than the ones you will get there. The fact that they have great customer service, fast shipping time, and the high variety they offer makes the price of these corsets well worth it. You can expect to pay anywhere from $59-$169 depending on which product you are looking at, and they are worth what they are valued at.

They also sent me a complimentary pair of gloves and thigh highs that are not pictured here. I really appreciated the extra little gifts, and will give a shout out when they get used.
