Phantom of the Pawpera
This weekend I was lucky enough to attend the Saved by the Heart Soiree. I’m a sucker for anything that gives me an excuse to get dressed up. This event also fulfilled my long lived dream of going to a masquerade thanks to the adorable theme.
Let’s talk about the organization. I absolutely love opportunities that allow me to give back to the community I live in. I sincerely admire my friend Jessica for the initiative she has created through Saved by the Heart. They are a very unique organization where they not only help rescue the animals in their program, but they work to educate people in order to prevent pets from ending up on the streets.
The amount of support from others in the Greer area for this event was overwhelming. It makes me happy to see so many businesses that I enjoy, such as Southern Growl stepping up to help out a good cause.
My favorite part of the evening was the photo booth, which are the pictures featured in this post. The company, Southern Jewel Photography was kind enough to post all of the photos from the booth on their Facebook page, so I didn’t have to try to retake pictures of the prints to post on here. I’m looking forward next year’s theme and event! Oh, and one more photo for fun! Thanks Joe’s Studio for making sure my shoes made it into at least one crazy picture!
