Why I chose to make this costume:
Cinderella was my second Disney princess costume. I decided to bring her to life after a survey with my friends and family of which Disney princess I resembled the most. Honestly, I was overwhelmed by the rather one sided vote for Cinderella.
Thoughts on this costume:
This costume means so much to me because it was the first time I felt I really got to portray a character in a unique way. It really is a pet peeve of mine that so many people believe Cinderella’s dress to be blue. If you ever have access to the original VHS make sure to note that her dress is silver. Between this costume and Snow White I have been able to discover my true calling in the costume world. It wasn’t ever a doubt in my mind, but my dedication to my Disney inspired cosplays has definitely proven where my true passions lie.
