Why I chose to make this costume:

This was my first Christmas cosplay that I was able to do with Josh, and I wanted to do something special since we got engaged this year. I wasn’t able to make something for this shoot, but ugly Christmas sweaters with key cosplay elements for each character certainly did the trick.

Thoughts on this costume:

This costume is a bit of a precursor to the year to come. I want to do so much more with my costumes, and Usagi may be making more than one appearance in the upcoming months. Josh was such a trooper for this because I didn’t feed him beforehand in order to get the best lighting for the shots. Needless to say these looked great on our Christmas card.
